Annual Funds Manager provides leadership to and has primary responsibility for meeting or exceeding budgetary goals for the Individual Annual Fund, Corporate Annual Fund, Corporate Partners program and Tribute program. This position is also responsible for managing the Database Coordinator.
Provide support through food production and distribution of products and services for the café and catering operation. Maintain food sanitation, quality standards and effective communication. Represent Chefs in their absence and reflect the established standards for quality, productivity, professionalism, and customer service. Work independently as well as with effective direction and support for other staff members, volunteers and vendors.

Responsible for setup, running, troubleshooting and tear down of the audio visual systems within the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. Provide floor event coverage support and also guidance and support to other departments within the organization as required.
A support position for the Taste of the Gardens Café. Responsible for assisting with sales, food production, floor support and customer service through use of the organization’s Guiding Principles. Required to work independently as well as with effective direction and support for other staff members, volunteers and vendors. This position qualifies for part time benefits.
Responsible for setting up, stocking, serving and dismantling catering and, or beverage services for the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Parks’ Food and Beverage Department. Required to work independently as well as with effective direction and support for other staff members, volunteers and vendors.
The Membership Office Associate assists the Membership Department with new memberships, membership renewals and gift memberships. Answers phone calls, returns voicemail messages, data entry and membership fulfillment. This seasonal opportunity occurs during one of the busiest times of the year: Fred & Dorothy Fichter Butterflies Are Blooming Exhibition and Fifth Third Bank Summer Concerts at Meijer Gardens.
Oversee all Gift Shop operations on weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events as directed by the Retail Manager, and assist on other shifts as needed.
Seasonal and Internships
The Communications department is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented student in his/her junior or senior year to join our team. The unpaid internship is approximately 20–25 hours per week. The intern should be majoring in communications, public relations, marketing, advertising, journalism or related field. An interest in gardening and/or the arts is preferred.

Responsible for day to day guest service functions performed at Admissions, Monitor, Information Desk and Amphitheatre Box Office.
These are temporary, hourly, seasonal positions. The Seasonal Gardener (Intern) will assist with the maintenance of indoor and outdoor gardens and displays. The work schedule will include a rotation of weekends and holidays, which will involve some greenhouse, grounds maintenance and landscaping responsibilities. 40 hours per week (up to 12-16 weeks). Beginning April to May and ending mid to late August.
